The Babylon Single pendant light from the Babylon collection combines geometric design language with refined materials and carefully considered details. The slender luminaire consists of a precisely crafted brass rod, accented at the upper end by an elegant marble sphere and terminating at the lower end in a shallow bowl-shaped reflector with a diameter of 12 cm.
The clear vertical design and balanced proportions make the hanging light a versatile lighting object, particularly suited for smaller spaces, individual accents, or arrangements of multiple pendants. The deliberately exposed light source enhances the minimalist aesthetic and gives the luminaire its distinctive character.
The pendant light is available in four carefully coordinated combinations of metal finishes and natural marbles: a dark bronze finish, warm golden brass, a reddish mahogany finish, and a cool matt silver finish. Each surface is paired with a matching type of natural marble that harmoniously complements the respective colour palette. Individual combinations of metal finish and marble type are also available upon request.
A black textile cable completes the refined design; a natural-coloured cable is available upon request.

Since 2014, this lighting manufacturer has caused a sensation not only in its home country but also among US designers with its timeless and unusual designs. The two young designers and founders of the company, Dominique Sente from Belgium and Rudi Nijssen from the Netherlands, say that they create "forms influenced by our passion, which seek and find a balance between technical and aesthetic solutions". Handmade in Europe, the lamps are made of solid brass. The glass spheres are made of very high-quality hand-blown borosilicate glass, thin and light like soap bubbles, but resistant and strong like laboratory glass. This extraordinary glass, also called Jena glass in this country, ensures both a stylish presence in a classically modern ambience and pleasant room lighting. Most of the swing lighting is compatible with dimmers and comes with extension rods so that it can be adapted to different room heights. On request, all Schwung lights can be made UL-listed 110–130 V.
